TO ALL

MAY IT BRING

AND TO ALL-
MANY
BLESSINGS

(Started to paint - felt the desire to finish this painting that I had begun two weeks or more ago. Started with one bouquet of Flowers for Inspiration -and now to finish with a new set of flowers. The Color balance seems almost Perfect - but want to fill up All the empty spaces - or start a new one. . . )

"Winter Flowers" - 18"x24" Mary Maki Rae - 2016

I decided this painting needed accents of Blue & White - which definitely added warmth to this domestic scene. This turned the atmosphere into a fine -almost sultry - "Summer Day" which seems to be calling for that "ubiquitous sailboat" in the distance . . . .
Well - on to experiment some more . . . .

In my words -Rilke would have said:
"Live Boldly, die Softly, but most of all Be -!"
